NAIL TECHNOLOGYFULL SPECIALIST ESTHETICS

NAIL TECHNOLOGY

What will you learn
FAB will prepare you from start to finish to work in a nail salon or to start your own practice. Every module begins with theory, followed by hands-on training. The modules consists of: Anatomy, Manicuring, Pedicuring, Nail Resin Systems, Gel, Basic Nail Art, Sanitation and Salon Management.

Prerequisites
No prior experience needed.  Prospective students must pass 10th grade English before enrolling.  A high school diploma or GED is not required.

Course Duration
180 hours. If you attend classes two days per week from 9am to 9pm, you will complete the course in 2 months (9 weeks).

Spanish class instruction runs Monday and Tuesday from 9am to 9pm. English class instruction runs Wednesday to Thursday from 9am to 9pm. Students can work with the instructor to set their schedules (ex. daytime only or nighttime only).

At the end of the course, you will test with our lead instructors. You do not need to sit for a state exam.

Total Tuition
$2,690. This includes 2 months of instruction, a nail kit, apron, all state board license and registration fees. We use the latest edition of Milady’s Nail Technology textbook which can be purchased via Amazon. The ISBN number is listed below in the FAQ.

Only $500 is due at enrollment.  The balance of tuition can be spread out over the 2 month program.  This equates to $730 per month until graduation. You will get a $200 discount on the program if you signup and pay in full using cash, check or Zelle.

We do not offer federal student loans or financial aid. However, most students will attest that this program is one of the best bang-for-your-buck programs in Orlando. Most students recoup their tuition within two months after graduation when working in a salon.

Career Opportunities
With a nail technician license, you are ready to work at a nail salon or to start your own salon. Once you have secured your license, it is highly recommended that you continue with your Full Specialist license as many nail salons value the versatility of employees who can offer brow and eye lash services at their salon.

When can I start?

Both English and Spanish classes operate on a revolving 8-week “wheel.” You can start any Monday (Spanish) or Wednesday (English) from weeks 1 to 7.  However, there is a blackout period for enrollments on week 8 due to finals.

For example, if you start in on week 3 of the current wheel, you would complete until week 8 and then finish when the class rotates past week  2.

I can only attend days or nights. Can I still enroll?

As long as you cover all of the topics in the wheel, you can plan out your schedule with your instructor.  For instance, if you can only attend the English class at nights, you should be able to complete the wheel within 4 months.

If you are bilingual, you could attend days-only from Tuesday to Friday and complete the program within 10 weeks by attending both English and Spanish classes.  please arrange with your instructors on the schedule.

Do you offer financial aid?

Federal grants only applies to programs above 600 hours. Since the Nail Specialist program is only 180 clock hours, it does not qualify for financial aid.

At $2,690 for the Nail Technician program, you will be hard pressed to find a school in Orlando of such quality at such reasonable prices.

We offer payment plans so you only need to pay $500 at enrollment and the balance can be paid in monthly installments of $730.  [/faq_item]

What books are required for the class?

We use the latest Milady textbooks and workbooks.  Please bring the books (or e-books) to your first day of class:

MILADY STANDARD NAIL TECHNOLOGY TEXTBOOK, 8th EDITION. ISBN: 978-0357446867
